Nomination Procedure Home | Distinguished Service Award | Nomination Procedure

Nomination Procedures may be made by any Member of Council.

A ⅔ majority of Council members present at the meeting is required to carry the proposal.

Current Council members are not eligible for nomination.

Voting is by secret ballot.

In 2008 at the Beijing Congress the prestigious IMPC Service Award was awarded for the first time to Nathaniel Arbiter.

In 2010 at the Brisbane Congress this award was made to Jacques Astier.
