The International Advisory Committee is chaired by the Chairman of Council and includes all Council Members and Members.

Past Chairmen and Presidents are automatic Life Members of this Committee. All representatives from countries who are judged to have a sufficient mineral processing interest and activity and who have been duly nominated and elected by Council, shall be Members of this Committee.

Country alternate representatives are entitled to attend all meetings of this Committee. This Committee meets formally at each Congress , usually at the end of the Monday of the week of the Congress. The Chairman of the Mineral Processing Commission has the responsibility of convening this meeting and setting the agenda.
